Today is a very sad day for Dave Matthews Band fans.

I found out this morning through Kate's blog that LeRoi Moore, the greatest saxophonist on the planet (Kenny G. who?), died from injuries suffered in an ATV accident.

I've had the privilege of seeing DMB live three times and, while he didn't play my favorite instrument, his talent always amazed me. I just can't help but wonder though, if he know the Lord gave him that talent. I always wonder if my favorite artists are Christians, just not real public with their faith.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In other potentially not saved artist news: here is a video of the John Mayer concert Kate and I went to a couple of weeks ago. Just before the song Gravity he had this to say (oh, and I hope you don't mind that he's not wearing a shirt):
While what he's saying isn't necessarily bad, it's just so worldly. And did I hear him wrong or did he say "Jesus never had to walk through darkness"? He could very well be saying "I thank Jesus I never had to walk through darkness". Can you translate that for me.
Would you guys make fun of me if I start praying that the Lord would save him? Cause, I really want to!
Do you guys have any celebrities that you pray would be saved?
If God lays a celebrity on your heart to pray for them, then I think you should do it.
What can it harm? People may think your dumb if you tell them that is one of the things you pray for but who are we to fear - men or God?
I think you should!
I do think he said that he thanks Jesus that he never had to walk through darkness. Yay! I've always had a feeling there was something about him that was different. Glad to hear he never got messed up in drugs and alcohol! I know that J. Mraz is into new age religions and though he seems to have a really great heart I do hope he keeps exploring and finds Jesus and his way to be the right way in his life.
