I cannot tell you how excited I am about it!
I didn't really know what to expect when I walked through the door, and to be perfectly honest - I felt like walking through that door meant I really was - yes, i'm going to use it -
fat.
I walked through the front door and was welcomed with open arms.
No questions asked.
No pressure.
No cold shoulder.
I was immediately greeted and helped through the process of my first meeting. Walked through the door into the meeting room and a sweet young woman named Sherry asked me to sit with them. We had the greatest conversation and come to find out - she'd lost 93 lbs. with WW. I also found out she is a diagnostician with a local school district and she actually looks forward to talking to me about Ethan. Educational diagnosticians share an ability to assess and
diagnose the learning problems of students.

The meeting was really interesting, up beat and I found myself laughing - a lot! It was really nice being in a room full of people and not worry about being judged because of my weight.
The really fun part though was at the end. Once the class was over (side note: i found it odd that we didn't pray at the end - further proof that i live in a christian bubble) and everyone was leaving I locked eyes with a woman I knew that I knew....
Turns out we were on the same softball team in high school! We hadn't seen each other in over 9 years!
Needless to day I am totally into this whole Weight Watchers thing. I actually can't wait till the next meeting. It was so refreshing!
