- I think Jon and Kate should have sought Biblical family/marriage counselling. I also think they should have cancelled the show last season to focus on a healthy family and (most of all) seeking God's will. I am sad that they professed to be Christians, renewed their vows recently and even PROMISED the kids they would never get divorced. I didn't realize I invested so much emotion into that show...into that family. I had such high hopes for that family. Maybe, Lord willing, they can reconcile.
- I think there should be a pause button on live feeds. I've been trying to watch the Southern Baptist Convention live but the phone keeps ringing and I have to mute it.
- I think McDonald's burgers should be calorie and fat free - without compromising taste of course. For some reason, against my better judgement, I love them. They are so tasty.
- I think the funniest thing I've heard lately is my friend's thought of what it would be like to self medicate ADD: " it would be like cross-breeding the Teletubbies with John MacArthur".
- Since E! has decided that it will no longer report on the world's most annoying couple, Speidi, I think they should go ahead and drop Perez, too. Seriously, who tweets FROM THEIR CELL PHONE for people to call the police? Oh! And not to mention, who asks somebody a loaded opinion question and then has a cow when he doesn't hear what he wants to. Oook....let's move on.
- I think Christian women need to spend more time with preteen and teenage girls. By the time they get into high school, it's almost like we've already lost them. This world is maturing at an alarming rate. Beth Moore made the observation that we are basically being sexually assaulted by our culture and media daily. Here's a quote I found that really speaks to that...
"Irresponsible, manipulative, and deceitful marketing efforts push products
and programs that harm children physically, emotionally, socially, mentally,
morally, and even spiritually. Children today face increased exposure to sex,
drugs, alcohol, tobacco, guns, foul language, bullying, violence, and fattening
foods. And many of us are simply standing by as increased materialism and
commercialism undermine our culture's basic values."-- Daniel S. Acuff and
Robert H. Reiher, Kidnapped: How Irresponsible Marketers Are Stealing the Minds of Your Children (2005)
- I think it's time for me to come up with another family schedule. The laze of these summer days has me totally off! That'll be on my 'to-do' for this afternoon.
- I think cherry limeades from Sonic should be the official drink of summer.
- I think I need to go back on South Beach some time soon. My body misses it!

I've watched Jon and Kate from the beginning. I have always thought that Jon was a little bit lazy and not as helpful as he could be. Some of the things that Kate says I have thought before but not said to my own husband....and I only have TWO kids not EIGHT.
I feel like Jon decided to check out and that he is refusing to cooperate so Kate has no choice. I'm angry with him for leaving his wife and family so that he can get on with his exciting single life dating 23 year bimbos. His attitude and now the divorce tells me that he did cheat and I think that is despicable.
I love McDonalds burgers too!
I think you are adorable!! I love your opinion and your thoughts and your way of sharing. Even if I dont always agree.. you are so good about accepting different view points!!
God bless-
Amanda

i love this list!
But I have to say I love Sonic's Ocean Water more than the Cherry Limeades. But both are still great!
