Honest Scrap

Chrissy, at A Lil' Dash of Diva, gave me the Honest Scrap award! There are a couple of things you have to do when you get this award:

~ You have to tell your readers ten things about you they may not know, but that are true.
~ You have to tag 10 people with the award.

So here I go...this will be hard though 'cause you guys know so much about me already.

10 Things You Don't Know About Me

1. I love drinking water with a teaspoon of liquid chlorophyll in it. I know it sounds crazy but it is SO good for you and adds a nice minty flavor to your water.

2. I remember a lot about Great Granny. I remember her name was Maggie. She loved polk salad. She only spoke Cherokee. She was the fastest green bean picker I had ever seen. It seemed like she had a GPS for wild onions. She believed that "Little People" would come each night and play pranks or destroy things if she didn't leave food out for them every night.

3. I have very strange feet. After my next pedi I promise to take a picture for you. As long as you promise not to stop reading my blog afterward.

4. I don't like turkeys. Especially turkeys named Remus.

5. I am a Southern Baptist Calvinist...but I prefer to say that I believe in God's Sovereign Grace. Two years ago, I was all about the free will.

6. I have only highlighted my hair once but I thought it looked silly so I grew it out. I have natural black hair (thank you Great Granny) and it's really hard to find colors that look good.

7. I wax my own eyebrows.

8. I'm on Team Kate (you know, the whole Jon & Kate scandal).

9. I don't drink alcohol for many reasons. 1) the meds I take restrict it 2) I feel like, for my Christian walk, it would cause too many to stumble 3) too many people around me aren't Christians and I'd hate to ruin my witness with them

10. My husband has been known to call me Demanda. Demand + Amanda = Demanda. I'm not proud of the fact that I'm demanding...I'm actually really sad about it. I don't want to be a demanding wife, which I equate with a nagging wife.

Do you know what the Bible says about nagging wives?!?!?! It is better to live on the corner of a roof than to share a house with a nagging wife. (proverbs 21:9) and An endless dripping on a rainy day and a nagging wife are alike. (proverbs 27:15)
