I used to be VERY VERY organized with our family schedule. Ethan's disorders demanded it. Now, though, I've become addicted to having a schedule and since we're without one at the moment, I'm going NuTs!
Do you all have a family schedule or routine? Do you have any good tips for making one or staying on one?
Today I'm working on my family's routine, women's ministry stuff and VBS lessons, but I'll only share our family routine.
Home Management/Cleaning Schedule (aside from picking up daily)
Monday - Laundry, Sweep/Mop, mail bills
Tuesday - Laundry, Vacuum/Dust
Wednesday - Clean Jeep (inside and out), windows/mirrors
Thursday - Purge pantry and fridge, give them a good scrub down!
Friday - Laundry, bedrooms
Saturday - Bathrooms
Sunday - check schedule for the week, write checks for bill, file paperwork from previous week
Family Weekly Routine
Monday - Take care of home, buy groceries
Tuesday - Take care of home
Wednesday - Church, Mommy watches Ghost Hunters (and she doesn't care who knows it!)
Thursday - Boys night-in, ladies' night out/Bible study
Friday - Family night (movies, games, swimming, etc.)
Saturday - Free Day!!!
Sunday - Church, naps, church, Scrabble (in that order)
Family Daily Routine
5am: David getting ready for work
6am: David leaves. I get up for QT and Shred. E saws logs (if we're lucky)
7am: E gets up. Get ready for the day.
8am: Take E to Granny's house. Go to work.
9am: Work and blog
4:30pm: Head home and start home care
5:30pm: E gets home from Granny's.
6:30pm: Dinner
7:30pm: Clean up and bath
8:00pm: Bible time, prayers
8:30pm: Bedtime for E!!!!
8:30pm - ??: Free time for Mommy and Daddy!!
10:30pm: We'd love to be in bed by this time but it's unlikely.
So there you have it, our summer schedule. Man, it really makes me want to be a SAHM so that 9am to 4:30pm stretch can be used to go to the park, pool, library, chik-fil-a, and bother Kate and Shayla. Not to mention, get a head start on homeschooling! ;)

Whoa. You are ORGANIZED. I am lucky if I can get to that mountain of dishes in my sink... ever.
Blessings!
Amanda
I used to have a little schedule like that but I can't do it anymore! LOL!
Now I want Chik-a-Flick!
