Today, I took a huge step in accomplishing this goal! I noticed that registration for the FREE (yes! free) 5 week beginners hockey class is now open! I just faxed over Ethan's form...hopefully we'll get a call back soon about whether or not the class is full.
**Update** As I was just about to publish this post I got a call from the hockey place. Turns out they are taking this "semester" (?) off and hockey will start up in July. He said we are VERY early for registering for the July class but he'll go ahead and enroll him and then call us in June with more details as far as dates and times.
I suppose that means I'm a hockey mom now! Palin and I should be best buds.

I tried peas again and Y.U.C.K.There is something about that green skin on the outside and the horribly sweet mushy inside that makes me want to, well....you know....
I don't think I'll ever get over my hatred of peas. Ever.
I was asked why I like edamame and not peas. Well, edamame doesn't have the disgusting skin nor the nasty sweetness combined with mush.
Edemame is good. I'll eat it anytime.
Peas + Amanda = NO CHANCE. ever.
