For some reason Ethan has expressed an interest in hockey. The first time he mentioned it was about a year ago when he saw hockey on TV and yelled when we changed the channel.
This weekend he REALLY laid it on thick that he wanted to play hockey. So, Saturday I think we're going to load up and go to the Dr. Pepper Star Center and see how he takes to ice skating. If he's into ice skating then we'll have his birthday party at the Center and if he STILL likes it then we'll enroll him in skating lessons.
I may just be a Texas Hockey Mom. Oh gosh! I think I'm liking Palin more now...
2. LAUNDRY!!
I am so sad to admit that Laundry Mounatin has returned. I've been doing a pretty good job keeping my laundry tame but this weekend it got out of control while I was distracted.
3. Watching these guys at my mom's house:
My mom has to be one of the BIGGEST Cowboys' fans I know. I'm not kidding. Every game she hold some sort of big cookout/party thing. Every game! Tonight it's just family, brisket, taters and relaxation.
We're excited.
David and I had a great anniversary weekend!! We went to Logan's, our favorite steak house, on Friday night. Saturday we had a big biscuit and gravy breakfast, did some antiqueing, looked at some motorcycles and then picked up the little guy from his Granny's house.

sounds like a fun weekend! my hubby was out of state for the last four days, so we really enjoyed our sunday afternoon together - just us, and a couple movies and 6 pack and a pound :) mmm . . . tacos!
