I am so excited about the new carnival that The Great Adventure is starting! After you read this please listen to the song I've attached at the bottom of my blog. You should only have to press play but just in case it's called Lucky (although I prefer the term blessed) and it's by Jason Mraz featuring Colbie Callait.
My heart has been broken over the marriages (or lack there of) in our world and I think participating in this is just one small thing I can do to change the tides, at least in my house. I haven't been the best at honoring my husband but I am aware of this down fall and I am certainly trying to be a more supportive wife.
So why does my husband ROCK?
He's willing to sacrifice his own free time and desires to things that will better our family. He has always willing to take on a second (or third) job to help make ends meet, he'll postpone plans of his own so that we can do things as a family, he's even willing to do horrible things like take out the trash and kill bugs, not to mention rarely does this sweet man buy something for himself.
I am so blessed to have a husband who is selfless and loving

Awwww...what a guy. And he's lucky to have a wife who appreciates him.
Love the My Husband Rocks that Katy Lin has started. I have signed up too and will be leaving a post shortly about my husband. Looks like we have similar interestes: love to have good coffee, read, not embroidery - but my crafty outlet is scrapbooking, am decorating my bedroom at the moment.
Nice to meet you Amanda - will check back on your blog soon.
Hey girl. Give David a thumbs-up and a at on the back for me! :-)
I love Jason Mraz! He is so versatile and talented.
How blessed are you to have have such an amazing husband!!
P.S. re: laundry from post before. I hate folding. But I am glad we have a W/D in our house. I was so sick of doing it for years in a dirty basement shared with an entire building of residents. And I've never had to do the laundromat thing, I don't think I'd like that.
