Ok, Back To Tuesday!
This weekend was pretty fun! My ol' buddy Kate and I attended the Sola Conference at Countryside Bible Church in Southlake - it was GREAT! Rock Wyatt and John MacArthur were absolutely amazing and God really spoke through them straight to me.
The conference was about Sola Christus - Only Christ. Rocky preached more on how to apply it to our lives and Dr. MacArthur preached about Christ who He is, what He did, and that salvation is only through faith in Him.
So, the Lord has made it pretty clear that our Bible study should be held Thursday nights at 7 at the church. I'm really excited about it - there are people who don't even usually come to our Bible studies who are excited about learning how to read the Bible. By the way, if you're looking for good book about learning the basics of this, getting a refresher or presenting it to a small group in your church I highly recommend Dr. MacArthur's book How to Study the Bible.
So it's time to get back to work! I hope I can blog a little more later. Oh, and I've hit a snag in getting my pictures to upload on this computer. I'm trying to find a creative solution. More on this another time!
Grace & Peace!
