I am seriously thinking about becoming a Pampered Chef consultant.
We could seriously use the extra income and I seriously want some of

I'd say go for it. I don't know how much the upfront investment is, but with a lot of direct sales you get more in free product than your enrollment fee is. (If that makes sense) I'm actually thinking of doing Thirty-One for that reason!
If that's what you want to do, go for it, but be forewarned, it will be VERY tempting to spend all your earnings on the product. Better to sell something you don't like. Maybe old, smelly cheese?
Go for it! I've been thinking of doing the same thing to earn some extra cash. I've never heard of PC though.
