** I am linking this post to Coastal Charm and Southern Hospitality **
Saturday we all headed out to Canton, TX for the First Monday Trade Days.
With his Chick-Fil-A sausage biscuit, Spiderman cup, $1 garage sale ski goggles and feisty demeanor - Ethan was ready for a day of shopping!
But let's cut to the chase!
Here's what I came home with...
Keep watch, this door ($30) from some Arkansas Army
barracks will soon be magically transformed into a headboard!
Can't wait for you all to see what I've got planned for it!
Pretty sure they're reproductions
(just look at how new those tops are)
but I'm STILL excited about them.
They add to my collection perfectly.
At $4.00 for pair, I just couldn't pass up these Tiffany blue, hand embroidered beauties!!
I got this here tray for $3 from a Shade Tree Vintage on Etsy.
It came in this week, which is why I'm posting it with my Canton/garage sale finds.
I AM SUPER EXCITED ABOUT THESE!!!
They are about three feet long and covered in rust (hello, RustOleum!) and are going to look great hanging on my walls. I have 6 of them, total: 3 thick one and 3 thin ones. How much did I spend on them? $20.00! That's roughly $3.33 each!!

This is another item that I got off of Etsy that was delivered this week.
If you've never seen Katie Daisy's work please run by The Wheatfield and check her out - she is super talented!
Last but not least...
I got this mirror for $10.00 at a garage sale!
It's solid wood and is adorned with an oh-so-classy Chucky sticker.
I can't wait to sand it down and paint it!

Now that you've seen everything I bought, here are some pictures of took of First Monday in Canton...

This vendor is in the corner of the "antiques building". This is where I got my $4 pillowcases and (in January) scored my $7 quilt.

The woman who runs it has MILLIONS (I mean literally millions) of linens, quilts and aprons all at DIRT CHEAP prices!!!
$5 bubble gun fun.
There's nothing nautical in my home whatsoever but I was SO TEMPTED by this anchor. If it weren't for the $65 price tag, it would have come home with me.

Looks like you like vintage linens...there is a lady that is located in the civic center that sells vintage linens at wholesale prices...her name is Linda (she has a store in Fort Worth or Dallas)...I hope she is still there!
