for HIS glory

I'm tired of talking about and being frustrated by not losing weight.

The horrible honest truth is that I haven't been trying that hard.

I joined Weight Watchers and go to meetings but I don't track my points. I have gym in my apartment complex and multiple workout videos but I don't exercise. I have a Brita in my fridge but I drink sweet tea. I have medications and vitamins but I prefer chocolate.

With the Lord's help - this changes NOW!

Here's my motivation plan:
1. Tell everyone close to me about this plan and beg them to hold me accountable.
2. Set up a regular routine for workouts.
3. Meal plan breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks each week.
4. Banish ice cream, cheese and sugar from regular meals.
5. Set up a reward system for meeting weight loss goals.
6. Remember that I am honoring God by taking care of the body He gave me.

Here’s my eating plan:
1. Follow Weight Watchers. - track points, watch serving sizes, eat filling foods.
2. Buy a WW cookbook from Half Price Books and learn some new recipes.
3. Eat breakfast.
4. Learn when I’m full.
5. Drink water before and during every meal.

Here’s my workout plan:
Week 1:
Walk Off the Pounds video - 3 times, 10 Minute Solutions video – 1 time
Week 2:
Walk Off the Pounds video - 3 times, 10 Minute Solutions video - 2 times
Week 3:
Walk Off the Pounds video – 4 times, 10 Minute Solutions video – 3 times
Week 4:
Walk off the Pounds video – 5 times, 10 Minute Solutions video – 3 times

After Week 4, I will reassess and probably move on to Shredding again.
The reason for not doing The 30 Day Shred right now is because of shin splints. I think if I lose some weight and condition my body a little better I won’t struggle with them as much.

Thank you all for sticking with me on this journey.
There are hills and valleys {more valleys than hills right now} on this road but I am still walking and haven't given up. Please continue to keep me in your prayers and this new plan in your prayers.

My weight loss is for His glory.
We can all see how well I've done losing weight on my own for the last year {not well AT ALL}. I have prayerfully committed my weight loss to Him and I will rely on Him to accomplish this work. I cannot do it by myself.

You can do this! Jillian killed me the first time I started the Shred. I completely blew out my knees. Your friends can definitely help you through this :)

I'm with ya girl! Thanks for your comment on Ordinary Inspirations... I'm telling you!!!! If you remove sugar and bad carbs, your cravings will disappear!!! VANISH... after about 3 or 4 days. Try it... and see for yourself. I prayed that the LORD would take away my cravings, and He did... by removing sugar. It is a constant battle when I reintroduce it into my diet though. I just need to stay as far away from it as possible! Check out those other links I posted when you get a chance.

LOVE YOU! Walking this out with you.

You can do it. I'd say the biggest thing that will make the initial change is journaling everything that enters your mouth and tracking those points. As you do this you'll be amazed at how much you're allowed to eat and how much of a difference it'll make in your weight loss.

Accountability is huge, at least it was for me. When I know I have people to answer to, it makes it a lot easier to stick with the changes my body needed. (Well needs)

You CAN do this and you WILL do this. Believe in yourself.
