Frankly, with his extravagant support of abortion...I haven't felt much for hope coming from him.
My friend {in real life}, Cara, made a list on her blog of who she thought should win the Nobel Peace Prize and I thought it was so cute and fun - so I stole the idea.

Kate Gosselin - for not killing John for all of his antics. The earring alone makes me want to punch him.
Beyonce Knowles - for how graciously she handled the Taylor Swift/Kanye West Scandal.
Angelina Jolie - for adopting children who really needed good homes and for her humanitarian work around the world. (p.s. I'm not a huge Angelina fan, she's just done more to promote world peace than Pres. Obama)
The Inventor of Starbucks: - I've searched and searched for a clear answer as to who actually founded Starbucks but came up empty handed. So, to whoever you are...thank you for caffeinating the world.

i would like to nominate my friend amanda jo. she makes the world a funnier, stranger place. i'm speaking specifically about your weird thing you found at a thrift store and didn't know what it was and bought it just so people would ask about it...that's my girl.

Agree about Obama (I honestly thought I was going to vomit a little in my mouth when I heard this) and what's more distressing is that he was nominated 11 days after he took the oath. @@
