Family Fun Friday!!!

Whether we work at home, from home or away from home sometimes it's hard to put away work in order to focus on the truly important stuff (aside from the Lord, of course): our families. We work hard to serve them and love on them whenever we get the chance but, still, quality family time is something that's been put on the back burner of life. We're simply too busy to spend an evening together.

Family Fun Friday isn't just for us married ladies with kids - anybody can do it - you can post about you and your parents, siblings, in laws, cousins, second cousins twice removed....any family will do - even church family!!!!

Let's celebrate and promote family fun together every Friday right here on Simple Kennedy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's how we'll do it:
Post about something fun you've done with your family lately. Add your name to the Mr. Linky below and then head off to visit what everybody else has done! Remember, we all love to receive comments!! Don't forget to link back here so everybody knows where the party started!!!
If this is done well, we will get some great ideas and suggestions for good, clean family fun but most important of all, we'll be investing in what really matters!
**Oooh, one more thing! I'll have a button up as soon I can get one! Would any of you be kind enough to volunteer your services to making a Family Fun Friday button?? If so, e-mail me!
4th of July
This year for the 4th we went to the "beach" at Lake Granbury. I'll give them credit...it was sandy but it still smelled like the lake and I didn't hear a single seagull. But...outside of the chicken bone I found in the water and polygamists, a great time was had by all.
David being attacked by two "evil sharks". They were pretty menacing.
Afterward, we all went across the street to the park to play cars and eat lunch.
Then nap.
We drank loooooooots of Kool-Aid - it was well over 100 degrees out there.
Here's E in his puddle jumper waiting for the "crackers" to begin. Crackers = Fire Crackers = Fireworks - just FYI.
David and his "Hogan 'Stache".
...and just as Ethan sat to build a very dry sand castle, the show began...
Some geeks on the beach. They were fun.
Now it's your turn!!!
And here is my new favorite commercial!!
Family IS important - especially dads!!!!!!
