Family Fun Friday

Life is BUSY.

Whether we work at home, from home or away from home sometimes it's hard to put away work in order to focus on the truly important stuff (aside from the Lord, of course): our families. We work hard to serve them and love on them whenever we get the chance but, still, quality family time is something that's been put on the back burner of life. We're simply too busy to spend an evening together.

Family Fun Friday isn't just for us married ladies with kids - anybody can do it - you can post about you and your parents, siblings, in laws, cousins, second cousins twice removed....any family will do - even church family!!!!

Let's celebrate and promote family fun together every Friday right here on Simple Kennedy!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's how we'll do it:
Post about something fun you've done with your family lately. Add your name to the Mr. Linky below and then head off to visit what everybody else has done! Remember, we all love to receive comments!!
If this is done well, we will get some great ideas and suggestions for good, clean family fun but most important of all, we'll be investing in what really matters!
**Oooh, one more thing! I'll have a button up as soon I can get one! Would any of you be kind enough to volunteer your services to makeing a Family Fun Friday button?? If so, e-mail me!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

For this reason I bow my knees before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. [I pray] that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith.
Ephesians 3:14-17a

Kennedy Family Fun at The Day Family Farm

A couple of Saturdays ago we got to visit some of my aunt's family.
She's my aunt through marriage, and her family has taken us under their wings.
They are amazing people.
They also have some AMAZING horses.
Between my love for horses, E's love of the outdoors and David's all around redneckness - the Kennedy's were in hog heaven.

Here is little Lexie on her way to get her pony, Jet, to introduce him to us.
That little 2 year old is living my dream...she has her own pony.
Jealous!
(her mom is a large animal veterinarian and her dad is a blacksmith which explains the pony)

I just love his mane!

Here's little Lexie and her daddy bring Jet back for us.

Then it was Ethan's turn....

She wasn't too thrilled about it.

Ethan must have spilled something very tasty on his shirt because Jet wouldn't stop licking it!

Look at my city boy up there in his flip flops.

...and off he goes.

The rest of these are just pictures of the horses.
enjoy

His name is Grizzly, isn't he great?!
