...and I blame it on exhaustion.
Here is a quick recap of this very busy weekend:
Friday:
A belated Administrative Assistant's Day
Which was combined with a going away party as well as a birthday
party for my sweet friend, Jennifer. I don't know if you
can tell it but she's pregnant with a little miracle and we're all on the edges of
our seats waiting to find out if it's a boy or a girl.
She's in the "any day now" stage!!
Friday was her last day serving with the SBTC. She's been the sunshine of
our office for the past 9 years. Now she gets to start her most honorable
job: Stay At Home Mom!
This was my dessert for the day. Mmmm...Cheesecake Factory.
Afterward my friend Christina and I walked around
Southlake Town Center a bit.
Even though it's all new, I love the old feel that that STC has.
I covet that green chair.
Just look at those quilts. I could curl up in all of them.
At one time.
A rubber band B. Who'da thunk it.
Saturday:
I went to
Kate's
Stella & Dot party! There were so many great pieces of jewelry there
I couldn't decide exactly what I wanted.
While I was there David called to tell me our patio window broke.
The jury is still out as to exactly how the window broke but I have a strong feeling a man with a BB gun had something to do with it. He denies any and all wrong-doing.
Call it a hunch but I think the BB that Kate found underneath the window is pretty strong evidence.
Not to mention the BB shaped hole.
Sunday:
We headed out to visit my in-laws after church. They went camping for the Memorial Day Weekend.
Here are all the kiddos that were out at the campsite.
Doesn't this picture make you think of The Goonies or something?
I wonder what E's talking about that has garnered all of their attention.
Can you tell it's raining in that pic above?
The kids loved the rain and being able to be out and playing in it, which inevitably turned into a mud fight.
