Basic Daily Schedule (if I lived in a perfect world):
5:00am- Wake up (David get ready for work, QT for me)
6:00am- Ethan wake up (get ready for school)
7:30am- Leave for school & work
8:00am- Work
4:45pm- Pick Ethan up
5:00pm- Home Stuff (clean, cook, workout, etc)
6:30pm- Dinner
7:30pm- Bath & story time for E
8:00pm- Bedtime for E
9:30pm- Bedtime for grown-ups
But we don't live in a perfect world and my day never goes as intended. Does your day ever go as intended? Anyway...after the marriage conference the laundry piled up, the dishes piled up, the trash piled up and I have yet to catch up.
Tonight is my night for cleaning. Here's what's on my list:
- Dishes (5 minutes)
- 5 loads of laundry (towels, sheets, Ethan, Mommy & Daddy = all night long)
- Sweep/mop bathrooms and kitchen (20 minutes)
- Counter tops (10 minutes)
- Tubs (easily done with this tip - 10 minutes)
- Pick up master bedroom (15 minutes - it's a big mess)
- Scrub the disgusting poop spots off of my 5 year old's bedroom floor (5 big spots = eternity)
Tomorrow night I am going to Gold's Gym to put in my 60 day (bogus!) notice and work out. So, I have two months to get in all the weight and cardio training from a gym I can then I'm on my own! I cannot wait to start shopping at Eddie Bauer and J Crew again!
I HIGHLY recommend you and your husband spend time daily growing in your faith. The best tool I have found so far to help with this is by reading a devotional together daily and then discussing it in depth. Check out John MacArthur's devotional Daily Readings from the Life of Jesus Christ!!
And might I add, there is a serious deficiency in the number of solid, biblical devotionals for couples. I found two or three but none that emphasized spiritual growth as much as they did learning to treat each other better. Am I crazy for thinking about writing my own and trying to find a publisher?
