Fallen Off Again

So I've fallen off the weight loss wagon again. I have been maintaining the weight loss I enjoyed a month or so ago...which is good. I just haven't lost any more weight.

It's not that I don't want to, it's just that I have had so many events that limit the availability of good healthy food and with my health thing working out wasn't an option for a while.

The good news is that this week I get to go shopping for groceries and after this weekend's marriage conference I will be able to get back to my regularly scheduled workout program.

I find that repetition is my friend. If I eat the same things for breakfast and for lunch, then eat a healthy dinner that changes each night I do well. Same with working out, if i have a strict schedule I'm more likely to follow it. My only issue is getting my hiney off the couch and putting my fork down when I'm full.

What are your favorite ways to get motivated to work out and eat right?

It seems like I think about and have good intentions on eating healthier, but the hardest part for me is just taking that first step . . . once I take that first step, then I'm like a machine! lol It's just getting past that hump . . . if you know what I mean.

Sorry to hear you've been having trouble too. I myself started on a diet Jan. 1 and then fell from glory! I lost 6 lbs and think I gained it all back. At the time I went on the diet, my husband did too and he was my cheerleader, whether I wanted one or not.

I'm a very independent and stubborn person. So it is hard for me to do things for myself, for other people.

What finally motivated me this week was that I was ready to do it for myself. So I'm on day 4 and doing really well.

I hope you find what gets you motivated and it works. :-)
Hugs!
