Need Some Inspiration?

Please watch this video of my childhood friends, Cpl. Aaron Mankin, who was badly burned when hit by a roadside bomb in Iraq.

Aaron and I hung around the same group of friends during our Junior High years and lost touch after I moved to Texas. Just now, on facebook, one of our mutual friends posted a link to this video. This is the first time I've heard anything about him since the late 90s.

I know (through a mutual friend) that Aaron is a strong Christian and even though he doesn't say anything about Christ in this video, you can see a peace and a joy that cannot come from this world.

Let's take some time today to praise the Lord for his sovereignty, for his grace and for our veterans/servicemen and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom.
