Be Thankful for the Cross

If not for the Cross of Christ we would have nothing to be thankful for.

Christ, in His selflessness, condescended and became human, born of a virgin. He was tempted in every way that we are, yet remained without sin.

The time came for His divine appointment with the Cross and instead of backing down or summoning angels He was obedient to the Father's will and was crucified for OUR SINS. He, perfect and holy God, died for sinful and depraved man's sins.

If not for Christ we would be destined for a lifetime in Hell and eternity separated for God. But, God loved us so much He sent His Son to be punished in our place.

Be thankful for the Cross this Thanksgiving...after all, it IS the most important thing that ever happened in this world.
