YES!!!!

I have lost 5 pounds!!!! I am so excited...I am so beyond excited! I love how losing even just 5 pounds motivates me to keep going!

This week my weight loss goals are:
- walk 3 times
- resistance training 2 times
- continue to log my eating habits (this step alone has made the biggest difference! I am way more cautious about what I'm putting into my body)
- More water, less tea.

I still can't believe I've lost 5 pounds in just over one week. I haven't even been eating that well, I've just been cutting down on the stuff I usually eat and I've been trying to eat a few more veggies.

Since Ethan has had another tough weekend we're trying a few more techniques to help him have some better days.

1. A calmer home environment. Less TV, more reading, more time to lounge and play, more structure with lounge and playtime.

2. We're updating out rule sheets and consequence sheet. I know I've already mentioned this in the last post but it's valuable to repeat again. We've got some good rules down, now we're trying to find some suitable and effective consequences.

3. We're going to attempt a sugar-free diet. We don't over do it on sugar (no candy, pop tarts or even cookies) but doing this should help in SO many ways. Not only would we become more healthy, this should help Ethan tone down the hyper activity.

maybe drop her an email or something... her son has ADD and they have chosen to treat with medication. I am not a huge fan of that decision, so that is why I am not more forthcoming with advice for you, as I don't know where you stand....

But she is a wonderful mommy and faithful child of Christ who I am SURE would be more then willing to offer up some advice!
