All Work and No Blogging = Dull Amanda

Here at my amazing job we are entering our busy season. Between Annual Meeting (which I'll explain in another blog), misc. conferences, Annual Church Profiles, Thanksgiving, Christmas (and Christmas Vacation!) and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering not to mention my everyday responsibilities and all that other fun stuff.

All that to say, I may be a little sporadic in my postings.

I've been talking about losing weight for a VERY long time now. I have a good amount of weight to lose too, but I am not good at losing weight on my own. I have a hard time staying motivated and I am easily persuaded when tempted by tasty foods.

Today I am meeting up with a lady I work with to set up the parameters for our new weight loss accountability program. I don't know exactly how it's going to work but what I do know is that we're going to be losing weight the old fashioned way: eating healthy foods in the correct portions, more water and more activity.

Oh, I got a GREAT new book that you all need to get. It's by some amazing men of God, including the one who wrote my favorite book Living the Cross Centered Life! It's called Worldliness: Resisting the Seduction of a Fallen World.
