Hey guys!
I'm posting on a Saturday 'cause I found a computer I could use. For those of you who don't know I can only blog and check e-mail while I'm at work. My hubs and I still live in 1990 and don't own a computer, have a digital camera or even cable. We're hoping to change all of this very soon.
Today we're going to Trader's Village. It's an outdoor flea market - but not like the cool antique ones. It's where you can buy socks, plants, food, bootleg cds and dvds (yawn), puppies, junk, hoochie mama clothes, cars, Hispanic culture items (which is pretty cool, I must admit) and, of course, ROASTED CORN (the whole reason I go).
Afterward, we're heading over to Ethan's cousin's house for a birthday party. We're excited except for the fact that my MIL is very upset with us about something. What? We don't know. It drives us crazy but she does this often. She hasn't talked to her brother in like 3 years and he still doesn't know why. Sigh. In laws. We love her though, hopefully she'll be friendly today.
Yesterday I got home from work and went straight to bed. I had the WORST headache - ever. When David woke me up he had cleaned the entire house (except bathrooms and our bedroom) and had even made dinner. He did all of the dishes, wiped down the counters and did everything in the living room/dining room outside of vacuuming! Sweet guy. My headache never really went away, till this morning, but it did get well enough for me to watch that movie: Win a date with Tad Hamilton.
Have you guys seen that movie? It's pretty good, actually. Cheesy. I tell ya, though. My Tad Hamilton, from when I was in high school, would have TOTALLY been Matt Damon. Dreamy. Anyway, it was fun to watch a girl's dreams come true. I also loved the fact that there really weren't any bad guys in the movie.
All right, well, I'd better get off of here. I think Ethan's having a melt down in the other room!
Love you guys! See you Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope you enjoyed this Saturday edition of A Special Blend. Today's blog was brought to you by three cups of coffee, biscuits and gravy and the letter Q.
