So, without further adieu....
Meet Shayla

She is the newest addition to our little group of friends, and the youngest. Also, meet Lee, her boyfriend and probably fiance soon. He actually moved here (TX) for her from Michigan. How sweet is that? Shayla is new to the blogging world, she's studying to be a teacher (and will be an AMAZING one), she's Puerto Rican and is allergic to milk. Oh and she's gorgeous, doesn't she make you sick? We love her anyway.
I've been so impressed by her excitement to grow in the Lord, did I say impressed? I mean convicted. She has been saved for about a year and I am truly in awe of her love for Christ. I'm glad the Lord lead her to our little church.
Meet Crystal

Crystal, the one in the middle, is an A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. woman of God.
**side note: doesn't the guy on the right look like the lead character from Facing the Giants?**
Anyway, back to Crystal: If you have theology questions, She's your girl. If she doesn't know it, she can find it. If you need an amazing cake baked, she's your girl.
Need a pedicure, she'll do it, bring pain meds though. Want to color your hair, she's the best, but you may want to numb your scalp first. Seriously though, Crys is amazing. Anyone would be blessed to have her as a friend....and you've all met Kate

Kate has to be one of the funniest people I know. We met in high school, somehow, we still haven't figured it out, all we know is that we met in 1997 and her mom gave me a ride home one day.
We were the "friends" in high school that waved in the hallway but never really talked until the summer before out senior year. Since we're both so great at math, we had summer school together and got to hang out everyday. That's when our true friendship started to bud but the school year started and we kinda drifted back into our old groups.
We still hung out throughout the year. Like when she went out on a date with one of our mutual friends and we all went out to dinner together. The night ended with us running full speed out of a Wal-Mart because of a very VERY embarrassing announcement over the intercom. I'll keep that announcement a secret, for the sake of the kids.
We even hung out at after prom since our dates decided they'd rather play at the craps table together than hang out with us. They were dorks anyway, it worked out nicely for us.
After coming back from college, our friendship picked up where it left off and we've been thick as thieves ever since. We've almost gotten killed a few hundred times. I practically lived with her and her family. We've been on too many adventures on our way to concerts. We've spent way too much money shopping together. I even introduced her to her husband (you're welcome and you owe me). We get ugly looks from old ladies at antique malls because we're too loud laughing at ridiculous things. The list goes on...and on...and on...
Oh, and in case you haven't noticed, we're very sarcastic toward each other and we like to diss each other a lot. Don't be alarmed, we're not being mean just to be mean, we're being mean cause that's how we show our love toward each other.
We have an understanding.
With all that said, I praise the Lord that He has given me three amazing Christian friends who are fun and keep me in line. It's a big job, keeping me in line, that's why He gave me three friends like them.
That and I think they are the only people who could tolerate my wacky sense of humor.
And somehow they all understand my botched use of the English language.
