My Sweet Wild Man

Ethan is a funny little guy so I thought I'd share with you some of my favorite things about him:

1. He loves without reservation - completely.
2. He will do anything - and I mean ANYTHING for chocolate milk.
3. Everything has the potential to be a hat (see above).
4. He has absolutely no fear of worms or anything dirt related (see below).
5. He's the biggest and best helper I know. Need your dishes put away - he'll do it. Need something dusted - he's there. Need help putting your shoes on - no problem. Want him to try a food to see if its yucky or not - he's brave (this one might actually make me a bad mom and no I'm not feeding my child expired or bad food - I'm only talking taste here people).
6. Chocolate milk, yogurt, baths and feeding ducks is all this child needs to be happy.
7. In his mind, there is always an opportunity to negotiate.
8. You're his friend even if he's only met you once...you're his best friend if you have four legs and fur (see bottom of page).
9. He's always quick to say he's sorry even if he didn't do anything.
10. He's learning to love Jesus everyday, and that excites me.

Here he is helping his Uncle Steve and Daddy dig post holes. Uncle Steve has his big ol' post hole digger and Ethan has his little gardening spade. Doesn't he look like one of the children from Lord of the Flies?

Ethan's Favorite Things:
1. "Taptive" - Better known as VeggieTale's Sheerluck Holmes & The Case of the Golden Ruler
2. Insisting on playing the cowboy even though in real life he is a Cherokee Nation tribal member.
3. Deal or No Deal - I'm not kidding ,this kid LOOOOOVES Howie even though he grates on my every last nerve.
4. Green Beans and Spinach - It's a shocker I know!
5. Ice Ice Baby, by Vanilla Ice. He knows almost every word. He's pretty much awesome.
6. Fishing.
7. Going to church - YES!!!
8. Hippo, his bestest fwend (picture coming soon)
9. Kate and Krissy, my good friends.
10. Hockey - we are stumped by this one. We have never watched a hockey game in our house nor do we even live in an area where hockey is that big of a deal (only when the Stars are winning).

Well, it's lunch time and I'd better get this published before I have to run off!

What a sweet little boy! He's a real cutie!

Thanks for your kind words on my post today. I've been really touched by the number of women offering their support.

Ethan and my son, Henry, could be the best of friends. I took a pic of my son last week covered in mud. He told my he was the muddy power ranger. Too funny.

Thanks for you comment on my blog!!
