My husband rocks because he's a manly man!
-He doesn't care about fashion, if it's comfortable and clean he'll wear it!
-He works with his hands and loves it.
-He hunts, fishes and does other manly outdoor things!
-He hates froo-froo smelling things like candles or sachets.
-You'll never catch him in the feminine needs isle at the store.
-He loves NASCAR or basically anything that goes REALLY fast and crashes into things.
-All he wants to do is take care of me and our son.
-He's the protector. If I ever freak myself out in the middle of the night David's the one who grabs the broken golf club to fight away...the intruder, better known as the mop that fell in the laundry room (this has happened more than once).
-He loves getting a paraffin wax treatment on his hands, not because it makes them feel nice but because he gets to put hot wax on his hands.
-He opens doors.
-He says "Yes Ma'am"
-He thinks bodily functions were created by God to make men laugh.
I am very thankful for my sweet husband and his desire to protect us, provide for us, and lead my son in the Way of the Manly (as I like to call it).
Since this weekend is Father's Day we have some very manly things planned...dirt track races, big breakfasts, naps...the usual. I can't wait to spend some quality time letting him know how much he means to us!!
**Katy Lin! I'm so sorry, I almost forgot! For more My Husband Rocks head over to The Great Adventure! Phew....that was a close one!

The wax thing cracked me up. That's such a man reason for doing it! I tried to put some moisturizer (scent free, by the way) on my husband's sunburn peeling face. You would think I was trying to shoot him. He ran from me... I guess he's a manly man too. :)
Oh yea, that body function noise thing is true at our house, too. :)
Your husband sounds great. You can feel the love you have for him just by reading your words. I love the wax- very funny.
Have a happy father's day with your family.
hugs to you.
how much fun! hold on to your manly man, girl! thanks for sharing these reasons with us!
Your post made me smile. Got the impression that you love your husband for who he is and you're not interested in changing him at all - that's great!
Guess from what a few bloggers have said - must be Father's Day in the USA at the moment - have a great day!
How wonderful to see someone else very much in love with their husband. Sweet blog!
