After a crazy weekend (you'll read about it below) Kate invited me over last night and we watched Libeled Lady after finding a couple of duds (The Corn is Green...and another one). This movie is AWESOME and I have a new love for Myrna Loy. If you've never seen it you should really consider renting it....it's a really fun romantic comedy!
Anyway...just had to share my new love with you. Moving on to more important things.
This weekend was so busy! From a vow renewal Saturday morning, a surprise party Saturday evening, a "congratulations" lunch on Sunday and a cookout with my mom Sunday evening - we're pooped! I don't think I've ever been so ready for Monday before.
Tonight I'm catching up on everything and hopefully will end the life of a few million gnats who have made my home theirs. David's going to be at a men's fellowship at church and I have an evening of play dough planned for Ethan so I should have at least 5 minutes of good cleaning time ahead of me.
BIG NEWS!
David passed his big important test! We'd like to thank everybody who lifted up prayers on his behalf but most of all we praise God for his rich blessings and graciousness. Not to us but to HIM be the glory - Amen.
Now David's going to start looking for another job - Lord willing something good will come a long that will allow us stop living paycheck to paycheck! Please pray that the Lord would provide David a job that will allow me to stay home and homeschool E.

OH! I forgot to tell you that my forehead has gotten me back for hitting it so many times on Friday and burning it with a straightening iron on Saturday. The genious that I am decided that once the burn on my forehead was nice cinged that I would go ahead and scrape off the dead skin - yeah, I totally have a horribly frightening scab now. Its on the opposite side of my part so it's presented nicely for all to see.
Go ahead and stare - I know I would.

Congratulations on the test. Our Lord is good! I hope you are able to homeschool if that's what you choose. We're beginning to wrestle with that issue here as well.
Hey Amanda! I did not know that you had a son! How old is he? I love that name, Ethan. Very cute. So what test did your husband have to take? What kind of job is he looking for? Also, do you still live in Arlington?

3. I LOVE Myrna Loy. Why am I not surprised that we share something else in common? I just watched that movie for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it. You've seen The Thin Man? It's my favorite movie of all time.

If you like Myrna Loy, then I'm going to send with Lance to loan you the complete DVD set of the "Thin Man" series starring her and William Powell. These are the 5comedy/mysteries that made them both famous and their chemistry is wonderful in it!!
Also congrats to David..and don't feel bad about the forehead..ask me to show you my left arm sometime..I have no less than 4 big burn scars from baking and touching the sides..Lance says I'm a little scary in my gracelessness!! hahaha!
