A Better Day

First off, I have to say thank you for all the words of encouragement! Even though its only been a couple of days I really am starting to feel a little better! After taking some much needed advice (thanks Mandy) I've realized that my priorities have been out of whack.

All I need to worry about is focusing on my relationship with God, honoring my husband and loving my son (oh....and being a good friend to Allison. [she made me say that]); the rest will fall into place.

I feel like I've had one of those "duh" moments - I've been distracted from what I'm actually called to do by the expectations of the world. I feel like I can breathe a little again...

Oh, so I've got a couple of things I want to do this weekend:
1. Spray paint Ethan's dresser
2. Sand and (maybe) paint the coffee table
3. Sand and paint the hope chest my uncle made me

Here are the things I NEED to do this weekend:
1. Clean off the patio
2. Scrub tubs (grrrr...)
3. Ask the hubby to work on the garage
4. Take Lu (our lab) to the park
5. Make more laundry soap

So this is the week we're supposed to get the stimulus checks in and I'm daydreaming about what to get. Here are some of my ideas:

Since I killed my last camera & I love photography:

Who doesn't need their own tank? It's on Amazon for only $20K!
It's called The Badonkadonk!
I think it's about time we get our own computer, don't you?
