Refreshed!

There's just something refreshing about having a simple 'girl's night out'. We're a pretty tame bunch...dinner at the Central Market Cafe (2 hours with browsing), coffee at Starbucks (2 hours of laughing)...home by 10:30 (awesome).

We're en eclectic group, too. Kate is our resident fashionista who's appropriately sarcastic and fun. Tirzah is our down to earth girl who can come up with a witty comment in a matter of milliseconds. Then, there was Shayla she's the newest to the Thursday night crowd. I can say in all honesty, I'm amazed by her sweet spirit and love for the Lord - and she's only 18!!! And we were missing quite a few last night: Krissy (resident theologian), Jennifer (future homeschooling mom!!!), Melissa (A Greek through and through, sister of Krissy), and Jamie (our Jesus lovin' free spirit). Hopefully, next time we all get together our newly wed friend, Kristi, will be able to join us.

I'm trying to think of something good...fun to do....and unique to give to my friends to thank them for loving me in all my weirdness. I want it to be something faith-based because, well, Christ is our Lord and He is the common denominator for all of us in this group.

"A friend loves at all times..." Proverbs 17:17

Have you thought about learning to knit or Crochet? Prayers shawls are a great ministry.
